I stand all amazed. At how Christ spent the final week of His life on earth. And how He has enabled me beyond my capacity the last several weeks🤍🌿
As I’ve studied what happened during Holy Week and personally sought peace and strength, Christ’s atonement has hit differently this Easter season.
I’ve been a little quiet on the blog lately as I’ve worked to settle into a new job. It’s been pretty challenging with a lot of growing pains, but that’s the thing about growth:

It happens when we’re uncomfy.
And because Christ took on the ultimate uncomfy experience, I am not alone. I have felt His strength and peace. I’ve been comforted.
And the amount of growth I’ve seen in myself truly amazes me.
It’s another anecdotal example of how Christ and I are better together than I would be on my own. When we’re on the same team, we’re unstoppable.
Penned by Charles H. Gabriel, the second verse of “I Stand All Amazed” is absolutely beautiful.
"I marvel that he would descend from his throne divine
To rescue a soul so rebellious and proud as mine,
That he should extend his great love unto such as I,
Sufficient to own, to redeem, and to justify."
Knowing that my Savior loves me through my pride and desire for independence makes His sacrifice on my behalf that much more meaningful. Because of Him, I can start fresh every day and try to be a bit more like Him.
When have you felt amazed or comforted by Christ’s atoning sacrifice?🤍🌿
