First off, if you ever get the opportunity to see Lauren Daigle perform live, do it!🎤✨ She’s an incredible entertainer, and her passion and love for Heavenly Father is palpable.
Second, Lauren’s music has this amazing ability to both pump me up and comfort me at the same time🤍🌿
One of Lauren’s newer songs, “Thank God I Do,” has become a sort of theme song for me lately. I especially love these lyrics:
“I don't know who I'd be if I didn't know You
Thank God, I do...”
She later goes on to sing:
“You're my safe place
My hideaway
You're my anchor
My saving grace
You're my constant
My steadiness
You're my shelter
My oxygen...”
As I’ve reflected on my life the last six months -- heck, even the last two years -- I can’t stop noticing my Heavenly Father’s hand guiding each chapter. He’s been shaping me through the hard times and the good times, and I can see my growth professionally, mentally, spiritually, and relationally🤍🌿 I don’t know where I’d be without the relationships I have with my Heavenly Father and my Savior Jesus Christ. They are so precious to me. Living so that I am receptive to impressions from the Holy Ghost has also been part of the equation. Just like any relationship, these relationships require work and need to be maintained. How have your relationships with members of the Godhead been an anchor in your life? How do you nurture these relationships?
